Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (IATA: SAW, ICAO: LTFJ) is an international airport located on the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. It is named after Sabiha Gökçen, Turkey’s first female pilot. The airport is located approximately 35 kilometers from the city center and is the smaller of Istanbul’s two main airports, serving mainly low-cost carriers and charter flights.

Sabiha Gökçen Airport was built in the early 2000s and opened in 2001. It has two terminals: Terminal 1, which serves international flights, and Terminal 2, which serves domestic flights. The airport has a capacity of around 25 million passengers per year and has a range of amenities, including duty-free shops, restaurants, and lounges. It is well connected to the city by public transportation, with bus, metro, and taxi services available.

Sabiha Gökçen Airport is an important hub for Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, and Atlasglobal, and serves a number of destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. It is also a cargo hub, with a dedicated cargo terminal handling imports and exports.
