Goth’s Column

Goth’s Column is a monument located in the city of Istanbul, Turkey. It is a column that was erected in the 4th century to honor the Gothic soldier Goth, who was a loyal servant of the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great. The column is made of marble and stands about 32 feet (10 meters) tall. It is decorated with a number of reliefs and inscriptions that depict various scenes from the life of Goth and the history of the Roman Empire. The column is located in the Atmeydani district of Istanbul, near the Hagia Sophia and the Topkapı Palace. It is considered an important historical monument and is a popular tourist attraction in Istanbul.
