The Grand Bazaar (also known as the Kapalıçarşı or Covered Market in Turkish) is a large indoor market located in Istanbul, Turkey. It is one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world, with more than 4,000 shops and stalls spread over a sprawling network of streets and alleys. The market is known for its wide variety of goods, including jewelry, textiles, ceramics, and spices, and is a popular destination for both tourists and locals. The Grand Bazaar is located in the Fatih district of Istanbul, near the Sultanahmet neighborhood and the Hagia Sophia.
