Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum, inaugurated on September 20, 1937, within the Crown Prince’s Apartment at Dolmabahçe Palace, marked the inception of Turkey’s first Fine Arts museum. Today, it continues its service as an art museum located in Tophane under the name “Antropo No:5.”
