Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi, located in Istanbul’s historic Fatih district, is one of the most significant Mevlevi lodges (tekke) in the city, serving as a center of spirituality, culture, and education for centuries. Kompleksin içinde yer alan kurucusu Yusuf Sinan Efendi’nin türbesi, ziyaretçilerin saygıyla andığı bir yerdir. Mevlevi düşüncesinin tevazu ve içsel derinlik vurgusunu yansıtan sade ve ruhani bir mimariye sahiptir.

1925 yılında, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin tekke ve zaviyeleri kapatma kararının ardından Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi, kullanılmaz hâle gelmiş ve zamanla bakımsızlığa terk edilmiştir. Ancak, yapılan restorasyon çalışmalarıyla bazı bölümleri yeniden canlandırılmış ve tarihî ve kültürel önemi korunmuştur. Bugün bu yapı, İstanbul’un tasavvuf mirasına tanıklık eden bir anıt olarak ziyaretçilerini ağırlamaktadır.

Yenikapı bölgesinde yer alan mevlevihane, şehrin kalabalığı arasında huzurlu bir kaçış noktasıdır. Orijinal yapının büyük bir kısmı günümüze ulaşmamış olsa da, kalan unsurlar İstanbul’un zengin ruhani ve kültürel geçmişine anlamlı bir bağlantı sunmaktadır.
