Üsküdar sırtlarında, Boğaz’ın huzurlu sularına nazır bir şekilde yükselen Adile Sultan Sarayı, Osmanlı zarafetinin zamansız bir simgesi olarak günümüze ulaşmıştır. 1861 yılında Sultan Abdülaziz tarafından sevgili kız kardeşi Adile Sultan için yaptırılan bu görkemli yapı, sadece bir saray değil, aynı zamanda saltanat sevgisinin ve zarif mimarinin bir yansımasıdır.
Şiir yeteneği ve hayırseverliği ile tanınan Adile Sultan, saraya kendine özgü bir zarafet katmıştır. Yazlık konutu olarak kullandığı sarayda edebiyat toplantılarına ev sahipliği yapmış, dönemin şairlerini, yazarlarını ve entelektüellerini ağırlamıştır.
